Prospect is a next-generation data visualization collaboratory, produced in the Digital Innovation Lab at the University of North Carolina (2015-present). Besides designing and implementing the software, I also wrote the extensive manual.
Exploring Celtic Civilizations
An online coursebook introducing the concepts and contents (in summary) of Celtic Studies in digital format, leveraging the functionality of Prospect for data visualizations and dynamic diagrams connected to expository text narratives. See this link.
Celtic Poets in North America
An incipient Digital Humanities project to collect information about poets composing in Celtic languages (Breton, Cornish, Irish, Manx, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh) who were or are resident in Canada and the United States since the 18th-century. See this link. Uses Prospect for data visualizations.
DH Press is a Digital Humanities data visualization platform, produced in the Digital Innovation Lab of the University of North Carolina (2012-2014).
Finding the Celtic
An experimental online collaborative Digital Humanities interface, based on UVA’s Collex system, funded by a Digital Humanities Initiative grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (2007-2008).
Celtic History Museum
A virtual museum of Celtic history and artifacts, created on Apple’s HyperCard (1991-92).
A pioneering real-time texture-mapped computer game (produced 1985-90) while a member of the FTL Games team.
